エレナ： I don’t want us to be apart anymore. Ever. もう離れたくないわ。二度と。

ステファン： Me, neither. But…僕もだよ。だけど・・・

エレナ：Don’t ruin the moment. You’re about to ruin the moment, aren’t you? この瞬間を台無しにしないで。いま台無しにしようとしたでしょ？

ステファン：I’m totally ruining the moment. I can’t just pretend like everything’s ok. 完全に台無しにしている。すべて問題なしっていうフリはできないんだ。

エレナ：Katherine’s locked away in the tomb. キャサリンは墓に閉じ込められている。

ステファン： I know, But we still have this pressing little issue Of you being klaus’ human sacrifice. わかってる。だけど僕らには差し迫った問題があるんだ。君がクラウスのいけにえになる人間であることだ。

エレナ：How can elijah compel another vampire? どうしてイライジャは他のバンパイアを操れるの？

ステファン：He’s an original. I don’t really know what that means.I don’t think anybody really knows what that means.彼はオリジナルだ。それがどういうことを意味するのかは全くわからない。他の誰かが知っているとも思わない。

デイモン：You were supposed to leave.帰っているはずだったが？

エレナ：I did. But then I came back to make sure that you’re ok.また戻ってきたの。あなたが大丈夫か確認しようと思って。

デイモン： I appreciate the gesture.I’m just glad it’s over.君の行動には感謝する。俺はただ終わって嬉しい。

エレナ： You know I don’t believe that.そんなの私は信じない。

デイモン： Go home, elena. Get some rest. It’s a whole new day tomorrow.家に帰れ。少し休め。明日は 全く新しい一日だ。

エレナ： Damon, I’m your friend.デイモン、私はあなたの友達よ。

デイモン：I’m well aware of that.それはよくわかっている。

エレナ： And a friend usually knows when their friend is hurting.友達は普通その人の友達が傷ついた時わかるの。
